As his Memphis Grizzlies are fighting to get out of a first-round matchup in the NBA Playoffs, budding superstar Ja Morant is set to release this documentary series inside look at his path to the pros. Featuring interviews with teammates from his time on the Grizzlies and at his alma mater Murray State, there are also conversations with other NBA and WNBA stars. This project comes from director Dexton Deboree, whose Jordan shoe doc “Unbanned: The Legend of AJ1” premiered at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

This show features an all-female Muslim punk band in the UK which takes inspiration from London’s rich and diverse collection of cultures. Friendships, relationships and cultural differences are navigated as the band seeks musical success. Doctoral student Amina finds her way into the rock band Lady Parts, but not all members are sure she’s up to the challenge of taking the reins as lead guitarist. Over the series — a co-production with the UK’s Channel 4 Amina looks to not only ingratiate herself with the other women in the group, but balance the demands of school and the hopes of finding romance in what little free time she has left.

Amazon’s latest international import is this Brazilian crime drama, centered on family members on opposite sides of the country’s war on drugs. As a father and son find themselves drifting away from each other, one ascending through the ranks of a powerful gang and the other reckons with his part in escalating violence surrounding the drug trade, the distinctions between where each other stands become all the more hazy. The eight-episode season is directed by Vicente Kubrusly and Breno Silveira and stars Gabriel Leone and Flavio Tolezani.

The latest in an ever-growing armada of Stephen King adaptations, this one holds a key distinction of being written entirely by King himself. The series, directed by Pablo Larraín of “No” and “Jackie” fame, follows a grieving widow (Julianne Moore) still wrestling with her husband’s (Clive Owen) tragic passing. As she continues to sift through the legacy left behind by his career as a novelist, she continues to unpack the nature of their relationship. The ensemble for this series also boasts Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Ron Cephas Jones, Dane DeHaan, and Sung Kang.

Palace intrigue returns to the heyday of the Roman Empire, this time focusing on the wife of one of its most well-known rulers. Kasia Smutniak takes center stage as Livia Drusilla, whose husband Augustus Caesar notably presided over Rome in both BC and AD. Originally produced for Sky in the UK, this eight-episode season looks to capture the cutthroat nature of life at and around the concentration of the some of the most dangerous power in history.

Based on the comic book by Jeff Lemire, Sweet Tooth is about Gus (Convery), a boy who is half-human and half-deer, who befriends a loner named Jepperd (Anozie) and wander what’s left of America after “The Great Crumble.” Yes, it’s a post-apocalyptic series, but hopefully one with hope and light instead of darkness.

In the final season of this BAFTA-nominated dramedy, standup comedian Mae (Martin) has been struggling to maintain her explosive relationship with George (Ritchie) while maintaining her sobriety. At the end of the first season, she wasn’t doing so well with the sobriety part; now, she has to get back on track and figure out how to be honest with George.

The dystopian drama takes place after a global event causes all humans to lose the ability to sleep, which ensues chaos in society. The film stars Rodriguez as an ex-soldier who struggles to protect her young daughter after discovering she may be the cure to the global insomnia.

Marvel Studios’ latest original series focuses on Hiddleston’s character, Loki, following the events of “Avengers: Endgame” where the sometimes-villain creates a new timeline after traveling through time. The show also introduces Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw into the Marvel Studios franchise.

The French crime drama is back for part two, picking up from where lead Omar Sy’s character, Assane Diop, becomes the most wanted man in France. The series’ part one episodes debuted on Netflix in January.

After its cancellation by Pop TV, drama series “Flack” is returning for its second season on Amazon Prime Video. The series stars Anna Paquin as Robyn, as a p.r. maven working in London who is tasked with repairing the reputation of her ill-behaved celebrity clients.

Another popular Canadian import, Season 5 of Workin’ Moms finds Kate Foster (Reitman) continuing to deal with the chaos and self-doubt that comes with being a working mom. Her buddies are also dealing with their own issues, including Anne (Kind) struggling with her move from Toronto to Calgary.

The Spanish teen thriller returns for a fourth season, where the exclusive Las Encinas school gets a strict new principal and a prince joins the student body. Samuel (Escamilla) and Omar (Ayuso) are still at school dealing with the fallout of covering for Polo’s murder. Expect lots more activities that would make the teens on Euphoria blush.

Season 2 of the reality series will bring a new group of individuals who are “tricked” into a contest where the person who can resist their temptations the most gets $100,000. After watching the first season, though, will these contestants really be tricked or will they have some tricks down their Speedos and thongs?

“The Ice Road” stars Neeson as an ice driver who leads a rescue mission to save a group of miners trapped in northern Canada. The film also stars Laurence Fishburne and Benjamin Walker.
