Wow! Thank you ARMY and BBMA for such an incredible title,” rapper J-Hope said while accepting their award via a video message.
“We butter you,” the boys said while signing off.
The group so far has been nominated 541 times and has won 367 awards. Also, the group is well known for rewriting history in their own country, South Korea as the only group to sweep all of the Daesang awards in 2019 and early 2020. With a dashing 41 Daesangs bagged by the group, it is indeed the most significant moment in the history of K-Pop. The Daesang award is one of the highest achievements a group or artist can achieve. Winning a Daesang focuses on the records released by artists that year and how many copies they sold, both physically and digitally.
