A collage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with four pictures in the frame is going viral, which shows the PM in four different attires. The image is shared with the claim that the PM changed his outfits four times to meet four different state leaders. The PM is seen in different outfits with Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, and Manipur Governor Najma Heptulla.

Netizens are sharing the with the caption which translated from Hindi reads, “Met four people yesterday and changed clothes only four times, what a fakir, come on blind devotees you’ll are welcome”

Twitter user Muhammad Sajid Faizi posted these four pictures related to PM Narendra Modi in a tweet on June 12, 2021. In these pictures, PM Modi can be seen with Yogi Adityanath, Tirath Singh Rawat, Najma Heptulla and Himanta Biswa Sharma. One of the tweets, when translated in English says, “Today 4 BJP leaders met PM Modi. Observe Prime Minister’s clothes in all four pictures. Modi is doing a fashion parade when half of the country’s population is fighting hunger, infection, unemployment, inflation, and death. Dear voters, you have made a cool man our Prime Minister”. Another twitter user Shubham Yadav also made the same claim by posting these four pictures in a tweet on June 12.
Several other social media users too had shared the same pictures with the similar claims as captions. Many posts regarding this incident was posted on Facebook.

On doing reverse image search on the four different images, it was found that these pictures are not from the same day. In the first frame PM Modi is seen with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath. A post of NDTV was retrieved from 11 June, 2021, which mentioned Yogi’s visit with the PM. The same picture was found of the very date at the CM’s Twitter page.

In the second image, the PM is seen having a meeting with Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat. On searching the image using Google’s reverse search tool, it was found that this meeting took place on 7 June, 2021. An article from India TV was also found which covered the incident. The report mentioned that Uttarakhand CM Tirath Singh Rawat met with PM Modi on Monday, June 7, to apprise him of the COVID-19 situation in the state. PMO’s official Twitter handle also tweeted the photo of the interaction of that day.

Modi is seen sharing the frame with Manipur’s Governor Najma Heptulla in the third viral image. While scrolling through the PM’s twitter page i.e. his official handle PMO had an image posted on 10 June, 2021, where one can clearly spot the state governor with PM Modi.

While, the last image is from 2 June, 2021, when PM met with Assam’s Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma, this image was found on the website of North-East Live. Himanta Biswa Sharma had also given information about the meeting between the two leaders by tweeting that same picture on June 2, 2021.

Thus, the viral claim is false, as the meeting between the leaders did not take place on the same day. As the meetings were from different days and not on one day, hence, the claim of changing four clothes in a single day is false.
