The toolkit, first shared by Swedish teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg on February 4, has been claimed as the proof of the Khalistani conspiracy against India by many critics. Greta shared a document named ‘Toolkit’ on her Twitter account which had a plan to support the online farmer movement. The police allege that this toolkit had the outline of a conspiracy to spread anarchy in India. The Delhi Police had registered an AFIR against the makers of this toolkit when the case was caught. After registering an FIR against the creators of the toolkit the same day, Delhi Police had requested Google for email ids of those involved in publishing and editing of the document, uploaded on Google Docs. Since then, the police have conducted several raids and have arrested Disha Ravi and reportedly interrogated another activist and lawyer Nikita Jacob. In the subsequent days, Delhi Police conducted several raids across the country. On Saturday, the police arrested the 21 year old for collaborating with ‘pro-Khalistani elements’ to ‘spread disaffection against India’ via the toolkit. The Delhi Police claimed that Disha Ravi was an editor of the “toolkit Google doc” and “key conspirator” in the document’s formulation and dissemination.
Preceding the arrest of Disha Ravi, accused in the ‘Toolkit case’, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted on 15 February 2021, “21-year-old Disha Ravi’s arrest is an attack on democracy that has never happened before. Supporting farmers is not a crime.” A picture has been going viral after this tweet in which Arvind Kejriwal is seen with a girl. It is being said that the girl seen with Kejriwal in this photo is Nikita Jacob, an accused in the toolkit case. While sharing this photo, many people are alleging that it may not happen, the strings of the accused in the toolkit case are related to the Aam Aadmi Party. Netizens got furious after this post, one Facebook user shared the photo and wrote the caption, “Nikita Jacob absconding in the toolkit case with his maternal uncle.”
Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) found that, the photo being shared on social media in the name of Nikita Jacob is of Aam Aadmi Party activist Ankita Shah. Ankita said that the viral photo was of her, which was taken during the mass media at the house of Arvind Kejriwal in 2019. Ankita also confirmed that her Twitter bio says that she is associated with the national social media team of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Ankita also shared this same viral picture on her Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook, she wrote a caption, “Finally I met my favourite leader Arvind Kejriwal. He is the best Chief Minister. It is a privilege to be associated with the Aam Aadmi Party. Thank you Arvind Kejriwal.”
